Dear Office of Student Financial Aid, My name is Adriana Mayeli Mendoza and I am writing to ask you to appeal my suspension of financial aid. The academic year for 2007-2008 was very overwhelming and stressful because my mom was in the hospital for a few weeks, then doctors decided to take her back to the hospital for more examinations that took months, since the doctors could not figure out my mom’s sickness. Without my mom, I would not be where I am today, I wanted to give her my time as well and tell her that everything is going to be fine. I am thankful that my mom is still alive and I want her to live so that she can look me graduate and obtain my degree in Behavioral Science. I will receive back in track, I do realize that I neglected my studies and I would like another chance to do better in them, I was not able to focus the past year and I was unable to meet the school standards for the units that are required, which led my grade point average down to a 1.91. I have compiled a list of steps I need to take in order to be successful in school. My goals for the fall quarter are to receive involved with school. I will take advantage of Educational Opportunity Program for their tutoring and will be attending it for an hour in every four unit course I am taking. I will meet my department advisor and turn in mid-term progress reports. In addition, since most of my general education courses are done with I will be taking my major classes only and I will spend office hours with my professors discussing how I can improve my grades. Also, I will continue to work on my time management to balance out my family and study time. I will attend my classes and notify my professors ahead of time about what should be done in case of an emergency coming up. Another thing is to keep in touch with professors Phillis Englert and Fernando Parra to discuss internships for the upcoming year. I have determination to finish school and graduate within one to two years. I have gone through three years of college and I don’t want to cease here. I want to go on and change other people’s lives by letting them know the adventourous experience I had in Cal Poly Pomona and continue to tutor other students to be successful. If I do not receive help from financial aid, I will not be able to attend school and provide the resources and skills I have gained during my four to five years in Cal Poly Pomona. I can not emphasize enough how important this is to me. Resolved Question: Traveling out of country with a Ferret?

To start, I'm absolutely in adore with the little fuzzie, and I've won plenty of battles over keeping her with me from when I moved from my college to my dad's home then to my possess place and then to my mom's home. And next fall I may be leaving the county to study abroad in Argentina and living with my Aunt. And she's getting old now, and to be honest I'm not sure she'll make it to this time next year at every. But she's still in great health and has never given me trouble. That said. If in the event I do pick to go and she's still very much alive and well. Am I able to travel with her outside of the USA to Argentina? (If it's relevant, I'll be going to the Mendoza Province in like it's Cuyo area.)

ok so my sis is having another baby her third and they don't know what they want to mane the baby yet, and they don't know the sex either she is only 10 weeks but they want to think of names now, lol never to early to start, but he is mexican so they would like to have maybe a mexican name, mixed mexican/American name, or just american name, the person with the name my sis likes most will receive best answer, she has one from a previous marriage and one now from her boyfriend these are the names of my niece and nephew, Dloris Dawn Sexton Eric Adien Rees Mendoza the new baby with have the last name Mendoza, I like the name Jasmin for a girl, they like Carlos for a boy so if you could work with that or arrive up with anything different every names excepted lol thanks for the help oh and middle names too please :)

Resolved Question: What's the best route to take to drive from Mendoza, Argentina to Santiago, Chile?

I just returned from a steer from Zurich to Lugano in Switzerland, due South through the Saint Gotthard pass in the Swiss Alps. In the next couple of years we are planning to visit Mendoza in Argentina and I'm wondering whether it's possible to steer West to Chile through the Andes and, if so, what is the best route? Any links, maps or advice will be much appreciated. Justme - I have heard that Sat Navs do not work in the eastern territories of Argentina. Re: over, I meant "western" and not "eastern"

I am a soph. at one of the top public high schools on the east coast, and want to go undergrad to a business school (Stern, Wharton, Mendoza). I have a 4.4 GPA, taking every honors classes, chemistry, english, algebra 2, spanish 1 and western civ. my elective is honors anatomy I play on Varsity soccer (currently number 2 in the state) and varsity baseball. I am also the class President. Junior year i wish to take an intro to business class as an elective. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated
